Today I got this ridiculous idea, maybe I should start: Blender VS Cinema 4D. Inspired by the Zack Snyder film Batman v Superman. This could be a new blog category in which I could explore the ways how to create the same effect in different software. Cinema 4D is known for its simplicity and Blender with its complexity and UI disorientation. With Blender 2.8 on the way, I'll probably wait for its release. Will singularity happen in our own lifetime?
I am slowly learning Blender and all it's small tricks to make things done. One way to learn more effectively is with sharing what you've learned and making tutorials. That was also the reason how this web-site happened. Today I am posting Blender workflow for using array modifier to clone objects in circular fashion. It's a matter of two clicks in Cinema 4D, but in Blender you have to follow procedure presented below.
Couple months ago I posted image of 3D printed model made in collaboration with @naturamorta_ceramics. The finished product is beautiful ceramic bowl, comissioned by MoTa museum for the project Moonolith.
